Kraut, an old-school biker, is known for his epic journeys across the country on his trusty sidecar bike, accompanied by his loyal Great Dane. Together, they’ve ridden through countless states, creating unforgettable memories and enduring hilarious misadventures. One of their most memorable trips was to one of our Southern States for a big club party, where they stopped along the way to visit brothers Kraut had met throughout the years. Kraut’s journey always begins with a farewell to his hometown and a promise of adventure. Along the way, he made several pit stops to catch up with old friends, sharing stories and cold beers. Each stop was a testament to the brotherhood that bikers share, a camaraderie built on the open road and solidified through shared experiences.
The Great Dane’s Diarrhea Disaster
Not all moments were picture-perfect. On one particular day, Kraut’s Great Dane experienced a bout of explosive diarrhea. As they rode along the highway, the dog stood up in the sidecar and sprayed the unfortunate contents of his bowels' all over the windshields of the cars trailing too closely behind. The sight was both comical and chaotic, leaving a trail of bewildered and disgusted drivers in their wake. Of course, Kraut’s mischievous grin and belly laughter was a clear message to the drivers behind him, “That’s what you get for following too close”.
An Unforgettable Morning
The adventure didn’t end there. On another night, the dog obviously still having tummy troubles, Kraut and his Great Dane were fast asleep after a long day of riding. In the early hours, the dog began making ungodly noises, waking Kraut up with a start. As he groggily stepped into the hallway, he slipped into what could only be described as a river of doggie diarrhea. Poor Kraut fell right into the deep end. Determined to clean up the mess, Kraut grabbed the nearest vacuum cleaner, not realizing it wasn’t a wet/dry model. To his horror, all the doggie juice was sucked into the vacuum bag, creating an even bigger mess. It was a morning Kraut would never forget, a testament to the unpredictability of life on the road.
A New Companion
During his travels, Kraut picked up a new House Mouse Prospect who was eager to ride along on his journey. Kraut laid down the rules: he would handle all the driving, fuel, and lodging, while the House Mouse was responsible for ensuring he ate and drank. Things went smoothly until they reached one of Kraut’s brother’s places for a meal. Despite the agreement, Kraut found himself without food or beer, while his House Mouse Prospect enjoyed the spread. When Kraut politely asked her for a plate and a beer, she exploded in anger, telling him to get it himself. Kraut decided then and there that she wasn’t cut out for the journey. Of Course, they were hundreds of miles and many states away from home, so Kraut rolled out solo leaving her behind to find her own way home. It was a harsh lesson about keeping one’s word, but a necessary one in the life of a biker. Unfortunately for her, they were all Krauts friends not hers, so she had to walk to the bus station and make her own way back.
Conclusion
Kraut’s journey to "Parts Unknown" and the adventures along the way highlight the unpredictable and often humorous side of life on the road. From dealing with the Great Dane’s diarrhea disasters to navigating the dynamics of a new travel companion, Kraut’s story is a testament to resilience, brotherhood, and the spirit of adventure. His experiences remind us that the road may be rough, and sometimes even "Shitty", but it’s the journey and the memories created along the way that truly matter.
